Foodworks on Ewing Rd has been around for over 35 years and it is our go to store till late hours (use to be any hour of the day). Pries are good, stock is good. Meat is cheap and good. Staff are great. Love shopping there. It my have changed hands over the years but the culture is the same. I feel safe to shop there at nights. Plenty of parking.

I love this place you can find all your island foods here you don't need to bring anymore island food from the islands when you go visit your families back home you can find them all here love it.

It is open until midnight most days and has a large selection of goods including fruits meat and vegetables dairy and frozen foods. The staff are very friendly and helpful also quick to make sure that you get a fast efficient service. I have no hesitation in recommending this store to anyone

Quickly became my go to 'quick but not from a service station' super market once I found it. Like for eggs and decent coffee beans. (I know you can buy eggs at some service stations, but I do not want to buy eggs from any service station if I can avoid it.) Not quite as much food as the big chains, but enough for most things, and a whole heap of it is stuff you never see in the big chains, like local brands and imported chocolates. Even their fresh produce and meat are great. And it's all reasonably priced. The only slight negative is that the store isn't in great condition, but it looks like the owners have to spend that money on security so it's understandable.

Ahh food works Ewing road, how you’ve saved my unprepared butt over the years! They used to be open til midnight, but of course a small handful of unruly guests had to ruin it for everyone. Now closing at 10pm and reopening at 6am, they are still awesome sauce!! It’s basically a full supermarket, with bakery and meat departments! Always pretty well stocked, clean, and easy to navigate. To be honest, prices are pretty comparable to the big corp grocery stores. Especially energy drinks, I usually find there’s at least a couple of brands on sale each week. They have an online catalogue, so check that out and see for yourselves before your travels. If you can’t nab a car park spot out front, don’t fret as you go around the back of the building and you’re spoiled for choice Staff are young and energetic, and if you’re super lucky.. you’ll catch a glimpse of one of the most magnificently manicured mullets I have ever seen! .. but don’t stare too much.. we don’t want him to get a complex he’s a super nice young man. So yes, food works Ewing road has got you covered when you didn’t! Good on you guys and gals, you all earned these 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Good place to shop but don't try and steal U will b caught

Great staff, cute tall Asian girl serves me a lot recently and has a smile everytime. Some staff worth mentioning is the girl who grabs my smokes. The staff are always nice, great job food works!!!

From the moment I stepped through the door, her cheerful disposition and willingness to help made my shopping experience truly enjoyable. This young girl has a natural talent for customer service. She greets every customer with a warm smile and a friendly “hello,” making you feel welcome as soon as you enter. I was particularly impressed with her product knowledge; when I asked her for assistance in locating an item, she not only directed me to the right aisle but also shared helpful suggestions about similar products that I hadn’t considered. What stood out the most was her work ethic and determination. I noticed how efficiently she managed her responsibilities, whether it was restocking shelves, assisting customers, or keeping the checkout line moving smoothly.
